Homeland Security Leadership Alliance Appoints Three New Board Members

New Board Members Provide Expertise and Industry Connections to Further Define HSLA as the Essential Non-Profit Resource for the Homeland Security Industry


BOISE, Idaho, June 10, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Homeland Security Leadership Alliance (www.hsleadership.org -- HSLA), the global non-profit organization for the homeland security industry, announced today the addition of three new board members. The new members, recognized experts in their fields, enhance the organization's expertise and ability to influence the development of the homeland security industry.

The new members are Dr. Brian Abraham of Battelle Memorial Institute, John Cohen of PSComm, LLC, and Robert Recker of SAIC.

Brian Abraham, Director of Product Development at Battelle, is responsible for joint venture partnerships, developing new technologies, commercializing products, and providing solutions for industry and government. Battelle develops practical, technological solutions for challenges in national security, transportation, and health and human services.

John Cohen, President and CEO of PSComm, helps state and local governments buy technology systems. Cohen has two decades of law enforcement and security experience. Cohen has been a senior investigator for the House Judiciary Committee and an adviser to the White House drug control policy director.

Robert Recker, Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC, has over 30 years of experience in Air Force and DoD missile and space launch operations including Atlas, Titan, Delta, and Minuteman operations. Most recently he was the initial lead for SAIC's Space Based Radar Acquisition Support Task in SMC.
