STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 12, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wihlborgs has sold 21 properties in unprioritised segments for a total of SEK 394 million at a profit of SEK 40 million. The profit will be included in the result for the second quarter of 2003.
- 14 residential properties, 3 commercial properties and 1 development property have been sold to private investors and property companies - 3 residential properties have been sold to newly formed housing cooperatives
"Through these sales we are continuing to reduce the proportion of residential properties in the portfolio," said Erik Paulsson, President and CEO, Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.
"This year we have so far sold properties for SEK 1.5 billion at a total profit of SEK 244 million, and there is still great interest in business amongst property investors in Sweden," Erik Paulsson continued.
