Cohn presents a hands-on how-to book designed to assist everyone in developing and using, as he puts it, "his/her God-given psychic abilities." In addition to instruction, Cohn discusses his own discovery of his psychic abilities and how they were developed by individual study, classroom courses and practice for many years.
The central core of his doctorate in psychology was the production of an eight-week course covering such psychic areas as "Healing Yourself and Others," "Meeting Your Spirit Guides or Angels," "Virtual Travel Through Time and Space," "Exploration of Past Lives" and setting up a virtual workshop. In the workshop, students would be able to accomplish the many skills needed to become a practicing psychic.
On the Psychic Side of the Street also includes a section of worksheets for each psychic skill. It also details how to qualify for a certificate of completion and ordination as a minister in the Luminary Church of Holistic Science.
Cohn is the founder of the Alphapsychic Academy and has been a practicing hypnotherapist and psychic healer for over 45 years. He graduated from NYU with an undergraduate degree in psychology, has a master's degree from USC and earned his doctorate in counseling psychology from Columbia State University. Specializing his abilities for healing purposes, he has been ordained a minister of the gospel and is a founding minister of the Luminary Church of Holistic Science, which is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit religious corporation.
