Teleca Signs Agreement with a Large Chinese Handset Manufacturer


MALMO, Sweden, June 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Teleca and Legend, the leading supplier of consumer electronics in China, have signed an agreement covering licence of Teleca's Obigo mobile suite. Initially, Legend will use Teleca's Browser solution in its G820 phone.

Legend began producing mobile phones last year in June, and the handsets have been well received by the market under the brand name Lenovo. The market potential of mobile handsets in China is huge. This agreement is the first step towards future co-operation between Teleca and Legend.
