A Scientific Destiny of the Universe -- New Book Explains that Life Events are Pre-Destined by Using Quantum Mechanics

QUEENS, N.Y., June 25, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Humans have long sought the destiny of lives and the origin of the universe. After pondering the topic for 20 years, author Pikwah Pia Fields has disclosed the answers in her new book, Why Life Events are Predestined and How Our Universe Originated: A Defense for Chi Gong and Supernatural Events (now available through 1stBooks).

Fields has been a witness to an ancient Chinese formula used for predicting. She has seen people's futures, which were printed in a book written by Shao Kang Jie over 900 years ago. Since 1978, she has been trying to find out why life is predestined, a question that top scientists are questing today. Based on quantum mechanics, Fields successfully covers hot topics, such as the origin of the universe, astrology, spirits, supernatural events and Chi Gong healing. Her book contains interesting data and offers serious scientific arguments.

Fields believes that time not only has its related interval, but also has related traits that she considers "imaginary elements" -- Chi. Such imaginary elements create connections between planets' movements and humans' behaviors. Life events are predestined because planets' positions are predestined. The author believes in the world of quantum particles could not be caught by gravity when they travel faster than light and have their mass turned to zero, such as what is shown in Stephen Hawking's radiation and tunneling. That means Alfred Einstein's famous formula (E=mc2) could not be the truth in all cases. Therefore, "we don't need a physics Big Bang story to make Einstein's theory complete. It is imaginary elements that originated our universe."

Fields makes Hawking's theory practical by using it to confirm the existence of spirits and supernatural events. By discussing the concept of Chi, the author defends Chinese Fa Lung Gong people that carry the faith of Chi and were mistreated by the Chinese government.

Born in China, Fields swam to Hong Kong to escape the communist's dictatorship during the Culture Revolution. At 24-years-old, she published her poems that made her became a newspaper editor. One of her stories appeared in the French magazine Espirit. She started studying astrology in 1978. In her 30s, she immigrated to the United States and finished her college education. The author's special background determines a revolutionary mix of religion, Eastern philosophy and Western science. Why Life Events are Predestined is a thought-provoking read, she notes.
