Of Werewolves and Vampires -- New Novel Takes Readers on Fantastic Journey Through the Realms of the Supernatural

NEW YORK, June 25, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- A full silver moon rises across the murky black sky. A werewolf prince is kidnapped and his fate is intertwined with the fate of three worlds. Boys of the Night (now available through 1stBooks), by Darryl Wade, is a fantastic story of werewolves, vampires and war that threatens all realms.

Wade's story unfolds with the kidnapping of Prince Eric, a werewolf who is heir to the throne of Lycanthropia, the werewolf realm. Happening under the guise of his partner, Christopher, a half man half vampire know as the "Destroyer," Eric returns as mysteriously as he disappeared. It becomes evident to Christopher that his friend is suffering from severe silver poisoning and the only person who can help him is King Wolfen, Eric's father. Unfortunately, the king exiled Eric from the realm. This combined with a death sentence to any vampire who enters Lycanthropia will not stop Christopher from saving his friend. However, evil forces are behind Prince Eric's state, and the situation may be a plot to ignite a second war between the werewolves and the vampires.

Mysteries will be revealed as Christopher and Eric's story unfolds in a diabolical scheme that threatens the world of werewolves, vampires and mankind. Spanning through a myriad of dimensions, places and worlds, Wade's novel is a true experience of adventure and a prime example of creativity.

Wade was born and currently lives in New York City. He has attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and served for four years in the army. He works two jobs, "one to pay the bills, the other, my book to make a long awaited dream come true," Wade says. Boys of the Night is his first novel.
