STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 26, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- TeliaSonera's (Nasdaq:TLSN) (LSE:TLSNq) (Other OTC:SNEAF) (Other OTC:SNRAF) subsidiary Overseas Telecom (formerly Telia Overseas) has completed the disposal of the company's 26 % ownership share in Bharti Mobile Ltd in India. The purchaser is the Indian mobile operator Bharti Televentures.
The transaction is expected to generate a capital gain of approximately SEK 330 million to TeliaSonera AB.
