"Together, Kraig, Dick and Ian embody a valued strategic focus that we plan to foster within Northrop Grumman's expanding human resources enterprise," Hateley said. "With the company's bench strength now expanded to more than 120,000 employees, we needed to mirror that strength at the executive level, and we now have achieved it with the appointments of these three highly qualified professionals."

Scheyer was most recently vice president, administration at TRW's corporate office in Cleveland, Ohio. His 26 years of service with TRW included working in four different business areas. He holds an engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a master's from the University of California, Los Angeles.

His background includes more than 30 years in a variety of human resources functions including compensation, benefits, organization planning, employment and training. Underhill joined Northrop Grumman in 1978 as manager, compensation and development at its Electro-Mechanical division and has held increasingly responsible management positions including manager of compensation, organization and training at the B-2 division and director, Corporate Employment Center. Since 1995, Underhill has served as director, corporate compensation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Diego State University.

He comes to Northrop Grumman with 21 years of human resources and leadership experience, including more than 18 years with TRW, Inc. Most recently, Ziskin served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Qwest Communications and as president and founder of Executive Excellence Group, a firm devoted to building executive and organizational credibility.
