ALS, is a fatal neurodegenerative disease which attacks
the motor neurons making even the simplest movement,
              including, walking, speaking, gesturing, nearly
impossible. Mental functions, however, with most people
are not impaired. Recent media coverage of Bruce
Edwards, caddy to Pro Golfer Tom Watkins, has placed the
national spotlight on this disease for which there is no
              cure.
