Finding Refuge from the Unrest of the 'Latter Years' -- New book offers way to find refuge in ancient city and scientific theory

HANFORD, Calif. , July 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- In order to find refuge from the predicted unrest of the world, authors Joseph C. Taylor and David C. Taylor are proposing new theories on scientific principles to explain some of the religious predictions of the Old Testament. In their new book, Finding Refuge Through Forgotten Messages From the Past (now available through 1stBooks), they offer ideas on how to save society using 20th century scientific discoveries and the ancient text of the Bible.

Prophets of the Old Testament consistently predicted unrest and war throughout the world during "the latter days." These same men also predicted that there would be places of safety and refuge for those desiring protection from the conflicts. Using documentation from an ancient city that protected its people, as well as an expanded version of scientist John Nash's equilibrium concept developed in the 1950s, the authors present ideas for recreating these places to protect people from the unrest of today's world.

Nash's theory, the author writes, helps to analyze what will happen to known societies by understanding their economic philosophy. The authors extended Nash's ideas of Individual Excess Capacity (IEC) to give them "a way to predict the parameters need for the creation of a society conferring an absolute protection upon its citizens."

With a revolutionary concept, the authors explain their reasoning and this new society. This new society would require the equality of men and women, with power given to women to positively shape the future through their children. Bringing a society that's thousands of years old in conjunction with modern economic psychological theory has created the premise for this captivating book Finding Refuge Through Forgotten Messages From the Past.

Joseph C. Taylor holds a doctorate in biochemistry and microbiology with post-doctoral work in biochemistry and genetics of pulmonary emphysema. He has been a student of the Bible for more than 30 years and has worked for years with at-risk families and children. He spent 13 years in the California public school system as a teacher and curriculum specialist. His son, David C. Taylor, is an avid student of economic psychology and the principles of societies.
