Watching with Jesus -- New Book Shows How to Align Consciousness with Jesus

TWO HARBORS, Minn., July 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Someone wise once said, "Seeing is believing." Author John Lundell encourages readers to take this advice. In his new book, Watching With Jesus (now available through 1stBooks), Lundell explains Jesus' command, "What I say unto you I say unto all, watch."

By watching, the prophets of the Bible saw visions; Jesus was shown what to say and do, and Paul received revelation. According to Lundell, "those who would see Jesus when he returns for his kingdom within must be found watching."

"The simple act of watching in expectation of seeing Jesus empties us of all thought, leaving us simply conscious as he is conscious," Lundell says. "Watchers see God and God sees the watcher."

Through this process, readers can align themselves with God. This creates a unified consciousness with God and they are able to see as he sees, Lundell says.

"Watching is the way of Biblical mysticism, a mysticism that is accessible to all believers of all denominations," Lundell says.

Lundell is a locomotive engineer and runs trains, which haul ore from the taconite mines of northern Minnesota to the ore boats of Lake Superior. He learned of watching through dreams and visions and has watched with Jesus for over 30 years. Watching With Jesus is his first book.
