STOCKHOLM, Sweden, August 08, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- WM-data:
*Operating profit before goodwill amortization (EBITA) during the second quarter amounted to SEK 59 M (-16) and profit after financial items (EBT) was SEK 56 M (-554). The corresponding earnings for the first half of 2003 was a profit of SEK 238 M (98) and SEK 226 M (-467) respectively.
*During the second quarter, the profit after taxes amounted to SEK 31 M (-549) and for the first half of 2003 the profit was SEK 166 M (-499). Earnings per share for the second quarter amounted to SEK 0.08 (-1.48) and for the first half of 2003 amounted to SEK 0.45 (1.35).
*Group sales during the second quarter 2003 amounted to SEK 1,660 M (1,905). Sales for the first half of the year were SEK 3,435 M (3,745).
*Sweden's National Financial Management Authority (ESV) signed a framework agreement with WM-data for payroll and personnel administration systems. According to ESV, the agreement, which is for a three-year period, has an estimated total value of SEK 250 M. WM-data is the sole supplier in five of the six agreement categories.
