Charlie Peile to join Golar LNG


OSLO, Norway, Aug. 27, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Charlie Peile has accepted the position as head of the commercial department of Golar LNG (Nasdaq:GLNG) to strengthen and lead its existing marketing team. Having worked with Gotaas Larsen for 16 years, he is revisiting familiar territory. His appointment will strengthen the company's on-going commitment to its existing and increasing customer base. Mr. Peile has worked for the last 4 years for Clarksons and LNG Shipping Solutions (a joint venture between BRS and Clarksons). His work with the two broking companies to provide clients with innovative ideas has kept him in close contact with the major users in the LNG industry.
