Preventing Sept. 11th - New Book Shows Author's Attempts to Prevent Devastating Attacks

FORTUNE, Maine, Sept. 5, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sept. 11, 2003 marks two years since the most devastating attack since Pearl Harbor shocked America. Images from that day are absorbed in the nation's collective memory in an intertwining mix of horror and bravery. What if it could all have been prevented? Where would America and the nation be today, unaffected by exploding planes, falling buildings and people jumping to their deaths from crumbling skyscrapers? If the leaders had listened to Daniel L. Lion VII, it might have. Now with the release of his new book, The George Washington Prophecy - Before 9/11 and Beyond (now available through 1stBooks), they have another chance to prevent further tragedy.

Lion's brother, David, first experienced a vision 20 years ago while training for the 1984 Olympics in Yugoslavia. His plan was to ski for nuclear disarmament as a peace ambassador. However, a training session on George Washington's property changed all that. According to Lion, he became witness to a vision of the George Washington Prophecy, which led him to write a paper on the Start Treaty and the Star Wars Missile Defense System years before their time.

In July 2001, he came across this paper. Lion says he instantly had a vision of an attack on the United States, more specifically, the World Trade Center exploding. He hoped to advise the president before it was too late. Instead, his claims land him in a psychiatric ward for a week. When he is released, he is "in a drugged out state" until Aug. 11, 2001. A bust of George Washington in the old North Church of Paul Revere's ride in Boston brings him back to the visions. He proceeds to get his message to the right people and the secretary of state responds.

The prophecy is not over, he notes with this book. The George Washington Prophecy is his attempt to spread the word to the masses about the dangerous road the world is heading down. Visions of a modern space-based missile defense system light up his mind as he works to notify Americans so they can work towards peace rather than war.

The past can never be changed, no matter how tragic or life-altering. However, humans can always change the future. Get The George Washington Prophecy and fight the future that Lion has seen.

Lion lives in Maine with his wife, two sons and daughter. He is teaching the George Washington Prophecy to his sons, so they may continue the mission of peace through the next generation. The George Washington Prophecy is his first book. He is currently at work on the sequel, which will cover the future he has seen through his sons' lifetimes.
