MB Tech Secures Patent Rights to Key Operating Mechanism of DBS Flat Antenna


LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- MB Tech, Inc. (OTCBB:MBTT) announced today that it has secured the intellectual property and patent rights related to the key driving device used in its new DBS Flat Antenna. The licensed patent applies specifically to a portable satellite antenna mechanism capable of implementing an accurate horizontal and vertical directional position to attain a satellite signal automatically.

The licensing of this intellectual property enhances MB Tech's proprietary DBS Flat Antenna and gives the Company exclusive rights to use the device on MB Tech's new products being introduced in North America.

The new 14" x 14" flat antenna has a max 32 dBw gain and covers most of the area that typical 18" dishes would. MB Tech engineers used leading edge microstrip patch array design technology and special manufacturing methods to connect the antenna and the Low-Noise Blockdown Converter (LNB).
