DEL MAR, Calif., Sept. 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Directors of Eyemakers, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EYEM) announces that it plans to change the name of the Company to "EYEM Surgical & Treatment Centers International" to more accurately reflect the true nature of its business. The Company will also require a mandatory certificate exchange for all of its shareholders, the timing of which will be announced shortly.
Ernest Remo, Eyemakers' CEO, pointing out that with the entrance into kidney dialysis and plans to advise and perform other specialties, the complexion of the Company has totally changed. EYEM plans to become a multifaceted provider of specialty medical care, and the entry into dialysis is the first step in that direction. The Company is in discussions with other groups to further enlarge its scope of medical specialties. Eyemakers is the only public company in its field doing business internationally and to that end uses state of the art equipment to provide these services.
