STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 24, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Directors of Skandia (Other OTC:SKNFF) (LSE:SDIAq) has reviewed the report submitted by the independent investigative panel commissioned by Skandia Liv's board. Skandia has noted the investigative panel's conclusion that it "did not find any evidence that the Parent Company improperly profited at the expense of Skandia Liv."
Skandia's board has also requested an independent panel to examine a number of matters, including an elucidation of the relations between Skandia Liv and Skandia from a shareholders' perspective, based on the work that has now been performed by Skandia Liv's investigative panel. Skandia's board will wait with any comments until this assignment has been completed.
