CTT Systems: Austrian Group Orders Zonal Drying for its Bombardier CRJ fleet

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 25, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Austrian Group, with its airlines: Austrian Airlines, Lauda and Tyrolean, has placed an order with CTT Systems to retrofit 15 Bombardier CRJ aircraft with the Zonal Drying(TM) System. First delivery will begin in fall 2003. Order value based on list price amounts to 0.7 MUSD.

"12 months of successful operation with Zonal Drying(TM)System in one of our CRJ aircraft has significantly lowered our operational and maintenance cost as well as increased passenger comfort and has convinced us to retrofit our entire CRJ fleet," said Walter Hechenberger, Technical Director Austrian Airlines Technik.

"This order from Austrian confirms the economical and safety aspects with the Zonal Drying(TM) System and confirms our increased market awareness within the airline industry, especially in Europe among charter, regional jet operators and low cost airlines," said Torbjorn Johansson, president, CTT Systems.

By eliminating condensation in the aircraft both operational and maintenance cost will be lowered through:

- lowered fuel consumption (i.e. lower aircraft weight due to elimination of accumulated water),

- consistent insulation performance (i.e. water destroys insulation performance),

- improved operational reliability (i.e. less corrective maintenance)

Further, the aircraft residual value will be protected or even improved due to no corrosive impact over the years. The lowered aircraft weight will reduce the fuel burn, which also has a positive impact on the environment.

With today's order CTT Systems has totally sold the Zonal Drying(TM) System to more than 40% of the European fleet of CRJ 100/200.
