FOERSLOEV, Sweden, Oct. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Peab has won the contract to build 12 kilometres new motorway from Falun to Ornas in the county of Dalarna. The client is the Swedish National Road Association and the contract amounts SEK 300 million.
The contract also includes 12 bridges, a traffic zone and reconstruction of existing local ways.
Work will begin during the autumn 2003 and it is estimated to be ready during the autumn of 2006. When this project is ready, the road section between the cities of Falun and Borlange will be a two lane motorway.
