EMS Technologies To Present Check To Georgia Tech Graduate Engineering Program In 20th Year Of Support


NORCROSS, Ga., Oct. 22, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- EMS Technologies (Nasdaq:ELMG):

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003 from noon to 1 p.m.

What:

Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty and students and EMS representatives will gather for a luncheon and an EMS check presentation to the School to help cover expenses for graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in the Microwave Engineering program during the 2003-2004 academic year. Over the past 20 years, EMS has provided more than a quarter of a million dollars to help support 25 doctoral and master's candidates in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Scheduled to speak are: Linda Cook, Vice President, Engineering, Space & Technology Division/Atlanta, EMS Technologies; and Andrew F. Peterson, Professor and Associate Chair, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech.

Where:

Van Leer Electrical Engineering Bldg., Room W218, the main conference room. (Directions: Driving south on I-75, take Exit No. 250 (10th St./14th St./Techwood Dr.). At the top of the exit ramp, proceed across the intersection, staying in the right-most lane. Pass the Turner Broadcasting campus on right, and proceed to stop sign on 10th Street across from Alexander Memorial Coliseum. Proceed west on10th Street, until reaching the intersection of 10th Street and State Street. Turn left on State Street. At four-way stop (State St. and Ferst Dr.), go straight and turn into the Visitors Parking Lot, which is one block from the Van Leer Building. After parking, walk down Atlantic Drive to the Van Leer Building (street address is 777 Atlantic Drive NW).
