Trenching at Condor Yacu Completed, Diamond Drilling Commences, Sampling Results From Los Corderos

Mr. Ian Rozier, Chairman reports that the mechanical trenching program at Condor Yacu has been completed and the 2003 Phase 2 drill program has commenced. Mapping and sampling at the Los Corderos, approximately 8 km to the north of Condor Yacu, has also been completed and results have been received from Chemex Mendoza. The Condor Yacu property is an 80:20 joint venture with Cardero Resources; Los Corderos is a 70:30 joint venture with Silver Standard Resources.

The mineralized structures sampled at Los Corderos are interpreted to be the northerly extensions of those lineaments exposed at Condor Yacu, 8km to the south. Results from the surface grab sampling program at Los Corderos are as follows:

Diamond drilling will test the mineralized structures at depth at Los Corderos. Over 1000m of diamond drilling is scheduled for the Condor Yacu and Los Corderos concessions as part of the 2003 Phase 2 program currently underway.
