WHAT: The artist's "UnderWater Village" traveling
educational tour hits science museums and

Developed by the artist and the Scripps

its hands-on world of marine art, science,
                        exploration, and expression. Program meets
                        national science standards.

                        Santa Ana (9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
Wednesday, Nov. 5 -- Aquarium of the Pacific,

BACKGROUND: The live tour is part of a free bilingual
                        online conservation education program
designed to teach students about the
importance of the world's oceans, lakes,
rivers, streams and ponds. With scientists
predicting devastating losses in marine life
and fresh water ecosystems by 2050, it is up
to the students to learn about our planet's
marine world and find out what they can do to
                        protect it.
