BALTIMORE, Nov. 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST) announced today that Bill Jordan has joined the company to oversee the manufacturing of the Secure Scan portal and to ensure a consistent supply to meet the current rising demand.
Bill Jordan has over 15 years of experience managing the design and production of electro-mechanical systems and has a Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Mr. Jordan was the original manufacturing engineer of the Secure Scan portal in his previous position as a senior manager with CDS Group, a federal laboratories contractor. As Senior Management, Mr. Jordan's duties will include managing the outside manufacturing vendors, overseeing assembly, confirming quality controls and proper installations. He will continue to reduce costs, which includes bringing a great deal of the portal manufacturing in house. Mr. Jordan will also be interfacing with the Federal Laboratories (INEEL) including updates and enhancements and will be instrumental in bringing to market new products and technology for the company.
Bill Jordan states: "I am excited to become part of View's engineering environment which allows me the flexibility necessary to fully support the company and ensure the success of the Secure Scan portal's manufacturing and distribution. In my previous position I had the opportunity to create the initial manufacturing process and procedures for this very device and have developed a series of design enhancements for View. My role will not be just to manage the manufacturing processes and supervise the suppliers, but to continue cutting costs and making our technology available to a much larger market. This will ultimately mean bringing all manufacturing in house such that we can control our own destiny."
