MicroTel International's Subsidiary, CXR Anderson Jacobson Wins Additional Orders from Siemens and Rockwell Collins for the French Army Worth $350,000

More than $3.5 million has been shipped for the French Army over the last three years

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Nov. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- MicroTel International Inc. (OTCBB:MCTL) ("MicroTel"), an international manufacturer of electronic components, subsystems and communications equipment, today announced that its French subsidiary CXR Anderson Jacobson has won additional orders for the French army for a broad range of its communication network access and transmission products including routers, remote access servers and DSL transmission products, worth in excess of $350,000.

These orders were granted directly from the French Ministry of Defense and from several high profile systems integrators including Rockwell Collins, Siemens and E.A.D.S. These orders continue CXR Anderson Jacobson's participation as a key network access communication supplier to the European military market. Many such orders as these have been received over a three-year period and CXR Anderson Jacobson expects similar sales levels of products to be used by the French Army over the next three years as it has experienced over the past three years.

Eric Piaget, Director of Marketing for CXR Anderson Jacobson, stated, "These orders represent the latest success in an on going relationship that continues to grow on a month-by-month basis. Our relationship with the French army continues to flourish and these orders demonstrate the ability of CXR Anderson Jacobson to understand specific customer needs such as the military and present innovative solutions integrating the latest communication technology."

Graham Jefferies, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for MicroTel commented, "The military communications market is a demanding environment, which requires a high quality product able to meet the varied demands of a dynamically changing military network configuration. CXR Anderson Jacobson's products are ideally suited to this challenge and provide the performance and reliability essential especially for our military customers. We continue to see both growth and stability in this particular segment of the communications market. We have been very successful in developing products meeting the greater requirements of the military for more and more secure data and voice communication. We expect to be able to grow this business both through the development of our direct relationship with the French Department of Defense and with various systems integrators."
