Haldex wins new AWD business


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 2, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Haldex Traction Systems, a division in the Haldex group, has been nominated to develop and supply the AWD system for a new passenger car model with start 2005.

This nomination regards an enlarged supply scope to an existing customer and includesa new car model.

In order to fit the requirements of more powerful engines, the AWD system will be modified to increase its torque transfer capabilities.

Serial deliveries for the new business are estimated to start in 2005. The annual order value is estimated to 60-70 MSEK.
