Tasker Capital Corp./DBA Breath-Rephresh has Named Robert Appleby Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Veteran Sales Executive Slated to Implement U.S. Growth Strategy for the World's First Breath Drink

Boston, Mass., Dec. 08, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tasker Capital Corp./DBA Breath-Rephresh(tm) (OTCBB:TKER), manufacturer and marketer of the world's first "oral-hygiene breath-drink" Breath-Rephresh, announced the appointment of Robert Appleby as vice president, sales and marketing. Appleby will be responsible for all marketing, sales and advertising activities for the U.S. regional markets and will report directly to Arthur P. Bergeron, president and CEO.

Appleby's extensive sales and marketing experience includes new product development, strategic positioning, field marketing, and developing product and channel strategies for many well known national brands.

"Robert brings a wealth of very successful sales and marketing management experience, as well as significant senior level contacts to fuel Breath-Rephresh's future growth," Bergeron said.

Appleby started his career more than 25 years ago as a marketing representative with Phillip Morris USA. His responsibilities quickly grew to include sales management and oversight for Seven-Up distribution across diverse bottling networks in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. He then accepted an executive position as Coca-Cola's Brand Director - Supermarket Segment, leading all marketing functions including a $5 million media budget, for 12 brands of soft drink. Key responsibilities included divisional profit and loss, agency management, promotion development, and managing cross-franchise brands.

Appleby was then hired by RJR Nabisco/Cadbury Schweppes as a field marketing manager. In this position, he managed 14 brands with a $10 million local marketing budget generating wholesale revenues in excess of $400 million. Appleby developed annual marketing plans including packaging, promotion, media, and pricing strategies for a 50 million-case division. Under his leadership the division increased volume and profit at 2.5 times the industry growth rate for a multi-brand beverage portfolio through Coca-Cola bottlers in the Eastern U.S. leading all business units in the U.S. and Canada in sales volume in 1994-1995. Additionally, Robert created and developed national consumer promotions for Sunkist and Canada Dry soft drinks. He also developed successful tie-in promotions with the NFL leading to record sales.

Most recently, Appleby held a senior management position at Daymon Associates, a global sales and marketing company specializing in store brands. While there he lead the product development, manufacturing, and category strategies for leading global retailers and manufacturers looking to develop private-label programs.

Associate clinical professors from a prominent University of Dental Medicine have shown in a pilot clinical trial how using Breath-Rephresh works quickly and effectively to control the bacteria that cause bad breath. The clinical trial demonstrated Breath-Rephresh reduced the volatile sulfur compounds known to cause bad breath. Participants in this study achieved a level of reduction which in comparison exceeded the levels of reduction displayed by other non-alcohol based commercially available products examined in earlier studies.

Breath-Rephresh is made of a trade secret formula, which includes the following natural ingredients: Shiitake mushroom extract, citrus extracts, vitamin B6, vitamin C, xylitol, copper sulfate, ginger and spearmint. Breath-Rephresh contains no alcohol and no sucrose (table sugar), unlike mouthwashes that are designed simply as an oral rinse, not to be consumed. Breath-Rephresh is designed as a beverage to effectively eliminate the causes of bad breath both orally and in the upper respiratory tract.
