Millennium Chemicals Announces Price Increases for Glacial Acetic Acid


HUNT VALLEY, Md., Dec. 11, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Millennium Chemicals (NYSE:MCH) ("Millennium") announced today the following price increases for glacial acetic acid (GAA) effective January 1, 2004:


 Central & South America:          US $50/metric ton

 Asia, Africa & the Middle East:   US $50/metric ton

 Europe (T2 material):             Euro E40/metric ton

 US & Canada:                      US $0.02/lb
