Industry Veteran Bruce Babcock Joins MB Tech


LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- MB Tech, Inc. (OTCBB:MBTT) announced today that Bruce Babcock has joined MB Tech to assist the Company in reaching its marketing objectives. Babcock joins MB Tech with over 35 years' experience with AT&T (NYSE:T), Squibb, RCA, General Electric (NYSE:GE) and Thomson (NYSE:TMS) identifying and executing marketing/business development solutions for business-to-business and business-to-consumer products.

High technology assignments at Thomson, as Vice President, Digital Programming, included the launch of the first widescreen television sets in the U.S., North America's first High Power DBS satellite system (DirecTV), the creation of the DVD Industry and the introduction of HDTV in the U.S. market.

As a result of his HDTV assignment, Mr. Babcock was named to the Consumer Electronics Association's "Academy of Digital Pioneers" in 2001. In addition, Mr. Babcock served as the Vice Chairman of CEA's Video Division, was an original member of the DVD Video Group (DVD Entertainment Group, today) and on the Board of Directors of IRMA (International Recording Media Association).

At GE Americom, Mr. Babcock's responsibility included satellite transponder sales and was part of the team to launch the Primestar medium power k-band satellite joint venture (Primestar Partners) with several leading Cable MSO's (Mutiple System Operators).
