PHOENIX, Jan. 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Viastar Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:VISH) announced today that recording for Gardner Cole's new release entitled "Gardner Cole, Past to Present" has commenced at the Company's A.V.O. Studios in Mesa, Arizona. As previously announced (see December 18th, 2003 press release), the album will include top 10 singles such as "Open Your Heart," the number one hit originally recorded by Madonna, "Everything" originally recorded by Jody Watley which charted at No. 3 on Billboard's top ten and "Another Lover," the title song from the hit Tri-Star release, "Loverboy". The company will begin retail solicitation second quarter of 2004 and is planning for an early July street date.
As a former Warner Brothers recording artist, Mr. Cole was named "Number 2 Songwriter for 1988" by Billboard Magazine and has in excess of 150 of his songs recorded worldwide on over 35 million albums by artists such as Tina Turner, Amy Grant, Tom Jones and Madonna. Mr. Cole's songs also appear in many feature films including "French Kiss," "Grand Canyon," "Days of Thunder," "Coming to America," "Gremlins 2" and the Britney Spears film, "Crossroads."
