IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Jan. 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (ITR), a renewable energy company (OTCBB:IESV), is pleased to provide investors with the following additional contract award information.
-- Bechtel Babcock Wilcox Inc.: new funding estimated at $310,000
for an additional scope of work and continued project technical
support.
-- Oak Ridge Associated Universities: an extension to March 21, 2004
of a previously announced contract with a new $265,000 for
supplementary work for the National Institute of Occupational
Safety and Health. This extension is the third such extension to
the original contract.
ITR anticipates additional contract awards will be announced within the next several weeks and continues to carry a backlog of contracts now in excess of $1,400,000.
