LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Two Xerox(r)-branded Displays flat-panel monitors are currently available throughout CompUSA's chain of national stores, it was announced at CES 2004 today. CompUSA, the nation's leading reseller of more than 35,000 computer-related products, carries the 17- and 19-inch LCD display models, offering attractive styles and premium performance.

Part of Xerox Displays 5 series, the 17-inch silver XL776s features a 140-degree horizontal viewing angle, 250 nits brightness and built-in speakers. The ultra-thin design and integrated speakers maximize desktop space and make it a perfect choice for home or office. Its high contrast ratio - 450:1 - enriches the screen's color to provide superior image quality. Suggested retail pricing is $499.99.

CompUSA also offers model XL592Ds, a 19-inch, silver LCD with 170-degree viewing angle, 25-millisecond (ms) response time, 250 nits brightness and 500:1 contrast ratio. The 5 Series ultra-thin LCD displays feature wider viewing angles for clearer images and digital video interface, adding greater flexibility and better video response. Suggested retail pricing is $699.99.

Both models feature convenient one-touch auto adjust and wall-mounting capabilities and are ready out of the box for quick and easy installation.

Xerox Displays are made available through a trademark-licensing program with Proview Technology, Inc. The company licenses other computer peripherals, including scanners and projectors.
