Finding God in Divine Love -- New Book Tells how Religion has Masked God's True Love from Worshippers

ASHLAND, Ky., January 8, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- After years of feeling unfulfilled by orthodox religion, author William T. Wylie explored new spiritual ideas in search of the truth that he knew was out there. In his book, His Light, His Love, The Ultimate Truth (now available through 1stBooks), he offers readers what he believes will answer questions about what God is and what kind of relationships people have with him.

Wylie looked to Eastern philosophy to fill in the gaps he had in his spiritual life. He discovered that the saints of the ages have the same message to give to mankind: the importance of the unity of God and brotherhood of man. He found that their message was always about "Divine Love," compassion and humility, which are the necessary ingredients to achieve God's laws of love and harmony. Wylie is satisfied that he has found information that traditional religion could not give him.

"Orthodox religion knows only the outskirts of Divine Love, and to take up this spiritual slack they have their rites and rituals, customs and ceremonies, rules and conventions, which are diverse among the different faiths. But the substance of Reality, the essence of Truth, the basis of spirituality all still remains beneath the surface of man's religious beliefs and his limited perceptions of God," he writes.

Wylie discovered that saints who have experienced God by going within have experienced God's ultimate "Divine Love," which enabled them to detach themselves from the physical realm and travel into the higher regions of Heaven. Through this revelation, Wylie realized the misery of mankind could be eliminated.

His Light, His Love was written to lift the veil that separates man from God. By offering these thought provoking writings, Wylie hopes that people will be enlightened to the point that they will be able to see beyond the teachings of present day religion.
