Raven Moon's Fictional Character 'Gina D' is Approved for Federal Trademark Protection

Company Can Obtain Rights for an Additional 18 Years

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM) announced today that Raven Moon Entertainment's fictional character "Gina D" has been approved for Federal Trademark protection.

"Gina D," a fictional character owned by Executive Producers Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco, has received Federal Trademark approval. Recently the DiFrancesco's received a Federal Trademark for the "Gina D's Kids Club" programs, "Mr. Bicycle Man" and "TV TED" as stand alone characters which can be spun-off into their own series. The "Gina D" trademark is important as a stand-alone character because she is the show's main character and a positive role model for children 2 to 5 years old.

"These rights will become extremely valuable once the "Gina D's Kids Club" television series of 15 episodes are fully produced and go on television in September 2004," stated Joey DiFrancesco, Raven Moon's CEO. "The key to financial success is to recognize an opportunity on Friday before it becomes a household word on Monday," stated DiFrancesco.

According to a One Year Addendum to the Option Agreement signed by the DiFrancesco's with Raven Moon, the company will have the right to re-negotiate the one-year Option for an additional eighteen year period prior to April 11, 2004 when the Option expires. Plans have been made for Raven Moon's Board of Directors to meet during the first week of February to approve and authorize a compensation package with the DiFrancescos for the continuation of these rights for an additional eighteen-year period. Federal trademark protection for characters on television such and "Barney" and "Sesame Street" can mean billions of dollars in revenues from merchandising and licensing of Videos, DVD's, Music, Toys, Clothing, Lunch Boxes and School Supplies.
