B2K Creative Director, Dave Scott, Releases Official Statement

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The following is a statement released on behalf of Dave Scott through his publicist, Jonna Winnicki, and his agent Terry Lindholm of McDonald Selznick & Associates, in response to numerous calls being received from media as a result of the rumored B2K breakup:

"I have worked with B2K since day one. I am saddened to see their current situation being exploited and dissected on a national scope. I believe the boys' (Raz B, J Boog, Lil Fizz) decision to seek new management is no one's business but their own.

"I have known Chris Stokes for years and have consistently been hired as an independent contractor by his company for B2K. I have an excellent working relationship with Chris and his team. Our most recent project together is the upcoming Screen Gems film YOU GOT SERVED, in which I was brought on to choreograph the film. We all worked tremendously hard on this project and can't wait for it to drop on January 30th."

"Raz B, J Boog, Lil Fizz and Omarion are like family to me. And while I would like nothing more than for them to stay together as B2K, I am respectful of their decisions and will continue to support them. I will also continue to work with them - be it together as a group or individually. Their individual happiness and success has always been a priority to me and will continue to be one. I wish them all much love and strength in this brave new year."
