Raptor Applies for Eight Patents for Switch Technology


ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Jan. 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raptor Networks Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:RPTN) a provider of unique patent pending switching technology, announces the United States Patent and Trademark Office confirmed the receipt for eight patent pending applications.

Raptor has applied and received confirmation for eight of nine utility patents for the design of Raptor switches and is in the process of preparing filings for 16 additional patents for Raptor's software and hardware products. Copyrights have previously been completed on design layouts of Raptor's switches. Patent file number and name are as follows:
