New Ownership Group to Keep Adirondack Wildcats in Glens Falls, N.Y.

MILFORD, Conn., Jan. 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The United States Basketball League, Inc. (OTCBB:USBL) welcomes a new ownership group to the fold, as Charles Adams purchased the Adirondack Wildcats for the 2004 season. Adams, a prominent Glens Falls community and business leader, has purchased the Wildcats franchise from former owner Dr. Ravi Chandran and his company, McCormick Holdings, LLC, who have moved from the area.

"I am very happy to be the new owner of the Wildcats. When I heard that the Wildcats might be leaving town, I was disappointed. I was later contacted by the USBL and members of the community to try to find a way to keep the Wildcats in town, and that process was completed only 45 minutes ago when Dr. Chandran and I signed the papers making me the new owner. The Wildcats will be a broad civic owned franchise that will be relying on the Glens Falls business community for their support," stated new Adirondack Wildcat owner Charles Adams.

"Charles is the type of owner that we are looking for in the USBL. He has a strong presence in the community and has the business experience to run an outstanding franchise. With Charles' standing in the community and his successful endeavor with his other professional sports team, we feel that the Wildcats are in very capable hands and expect continued success," stated USBL Founder and Commissioner Daniel T. Meisenheimer III.
