Viasat Launches Two New Sports TV Channels


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Modern Times Group MTG AB, the international media group, today announced that Viasat Broadcasting will launch two new sports channels on 1 February 2004, and rebrand its existing Viasat Sport Channel. Viasat will broadcast three dedicated sports channels -- Viasat Sport 1, 2 and 3, which will broaden the choice for viewers and offer enhanced viewing access to Viasat's extensive portfolio of sports rights.
