Raven Moon Pays Tribute to Bob Keeshan a.k.a Captain Kangaroo

Gina D's Kids Club Continues his Tradition of Excellence for Children's Programming

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 26, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM) pays tribute to Bob Keeshan also known as Captain Kangaroo who passed away last week leaving a void in children television in which he appeared on for nearly forty years. The Captain's cast of characters included: Mr. Moose, Dancing Bear and Mr. Green Jeans.

An advocate for better television programs for children, he was once quoted as saying, "Our goal is to have kids feel better about themselves." Sound familiar? Turn the page to the year 2004 and we hear the same sentiment from the cast of 'Gina D's Kids Club' except it's being said by Gina D, Simon Wannabe, Pierre D' Artist, Miss Muffin and Hammy the Hamster.

"The key is to find a need and fill it," states Joey DiFrancesco, Raven Moon's CEO and Executive Producer. "He and his wife Bernadette have certainly created a program that can fill the void left by Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Rogers and Shari Lewis who all recently past away," stated Keith Jablon, Director of Syndication for the 'Gina D's Kids Club' programs. "It's incredible how many people like Gina. She's warm, sincere and she connects not only with children but also with their parents because she's a real role model."

Children deserve better programs and 'Gina D's Kids Club' has all the ingredients. It's educational, it's entertaining, it has amusing live characters, and cute puppets; state of the art 3D animation and great music with positive lyrics that make children feel good about themselves.

Last week Raven Moon executives including Peter Bennett (www.petebennett.com) attended key meetings with top executives from major entertainment companies at the NATPE convention in Las Vegas where everyone agreed that the quality of the animation, characters, educational values and music is second to none. "Gina D has a great voice," stated Peter Bennett. "She has an innocent quality that is very appealing to anyone who hears her music." Raven Moon executives have already lined up follow up meetings in New York in February which should bring the company closer to its goals of Nationwide syndication for the series which is scheduled to begin airing September of 2004.

"No one will ever replace Shari Lewis, Mr. Rogers or Captain Kangaroo; they will live in our hearts forever and will be sorely missed, but perhaps a new generation of children 2 to 6 years old will now have an opportunity to watch better programming like 'Gina D's Kids Club' because of the inspiration that these great television pioneers gave to us. We need to give the next generation of children the same opportunity we had. To grow up with strong, positive, role models who will not only educate, but entertain," stated Bernadette DiFrancesco, Executive Producer
