(OTCBB:GDVI), focused on the modular building industry with emphasis on the education market, reports that its modular division has completed the installation of a unique automated assembly process in its manufacturing facility in Chowchilla, CA.

The manufacturing upgrades consists of new automated tracking devices on three production lines rendering the capability of increasing the daily output as much as 30%. This new process increases overall fabrication speed while simultaneously reducing factory labor, resulting in improved plant efficiency. Another benefit to be realized from this production improvement is the ability to procure raw materials at higher discounts due to volume purchasing. Also, as the company's backlog grows throughout the year, Global Modular will be in a position to meet critical delivery schedules even during the busy summer season as a result of their production advancements.

Global Diversified Industries, Inc. Chairman and CEO Phil Hamilton, states: "We took advantage of the winter season to implement this automated fabrication process. We are now set-up for what appears to be (according to industry forecasts) a busy year in the portable classroom market."

Upon the successful passage of Proposition 55 (Kindergarten-University Public Education Facilities Bond Act of 2004) in March 2004, several California school districts will be eligible to receive school bond funds to improve overcrowded classroom conditions and build new schools.

Hamilton further stated: "The advances we have made in our production process should contribute to meeting and exceeding our long-term growth forecasts along with noticeably improving the modular division's bottom line during our next fiscal year."
