Wall Street News Alert -- Aggressive Trading Alerts! Jan 28, 2004

WESTON, Fla., Jan. 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Universal Detection Technology (OTCBB:UDTT), Millipore Corporation (NYSE:MIL), Xerox Corporation (NYSE:XRX) and Pan American Silver Corp. (Nasdaq:PAAS).

Aggressive investors will want to watch Universal Detection Technology (OTCBB:UDTT) this morning! Yesterday, the company issued a press release announcing that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with Rutgers University's Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) to study the feasibility of using UDTT's Anthrax detection technology in transportation and medical related facilities!

This could be huge news for investors! CAIT's decision to choose UDTT as its technology partner comes on the heels of the recent heightened terror alert in the nation as well as the lack of preparedness of the countries transportation infrastructure to a potential anthrax attack. Rutgers University's investigators visited the UDTT facilities as well as the NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL) facilities in Pasadena and were very impressed with the ongoing development of the Bacterial Spore Detector. The investigators identified UDTT's technology as being key to a facilities defense against an airborne biological attack.

UDTT and its JPL associates will be a sub-contractor to a CAIT project entitled "Protection of Transportation Infrastructures against Biohazards." The UDTT team will provide the sensor related technical assistance for the evaluation program to be undertaken by the CAIT team.

"The aim of this collaborative effort is to provide the proof of concept necessary for effective integration of an advanced anthrax detection device, such as UDTT/JPL's detection technology, into the emergency management response of transportation facilities for protection against biohazards," said Drs. Ali Maher and Mohsen Jafari, Rutgers University investigators.

"Through this deal UDTT will be able to provide it's customers with a one-stop shop bio-security solution. We will not only provide the means to detect a biological attack but also provide a solution to move people quickly and safely away from a site in case of an alarm," said Universal Detection's Jacques Tizabi. Keep your eyes on this company! The stock closed yesterday at seventy cents a share.

In case you are not familiar with the company: Universal Detection Technology (UDTT), founded in 1973, is a developer of monitoring technologies, including bio-terrorism detection devices. Preliminary surveys show that the commercially available unmanned bio-terror "smoke" detector will have an auspicious welcome at Stadiums, Malls, Cruise Lines, Airports, Bus and Train Depots, Casino's, Hotels, Theme Parks and Municipal Buildings Worldwide.

Commentary:

"The National Association of Realtors reported that existing home sales totaled 6.1 million units last year, up 9.6 percent from the sales record of 2002, or 5.57 million units. This report provided proof of the strength of the housing markets and the role housing played in the overall economic recovery in 2003. Low mortgage rates, now at 45-year lows, helped to fuel the sales," stated Sonja Rudd in Wall Street News Alert's daily commentary continued at: http://www.WallStreetNewsAlert.com.
