Hexagon Strengthens its European Management


NACKA STRAND, Sweden, Jan. 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mr. Per Holmberg is assuming a newly established position as President of Hexagon Metrology Europe including its subsidiaries DEA and Mirai in Italy, Leitz in Germany and C E Johansson in Sweden

Mr. Holmberg is 44 years old and has spent most of his working life with the Electrolux Group. He has worked in various senior positions in the USA, Germany, Italy and the Far East.

Hexagon Metrology is the world leader within the metrology industry and the future growth potential is strong. The new European organisation creates opportunities for increased customer focus during a though period in the European market. It will generate an even stronger growth potential for the Business Area.
