The Project Group Engaged by the Delaware State Police for Enhancement of the DSP-STAT Program

HOUSTON, Jan. 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Project Group Inc. This implementation, largely supported by the Delaware First State Quality Improvement Fund, provides the continuing development of the DSP-STAT Program which was initiated two years ago and modeled after the ComStat program pioneered by the New York City Police Department. The STAT concept, based upon the principles of Accurate and Timely Intelligence, Effective Tactics and Strategies, Rapid Deployment of Resources and Relentless Follow-Up and Assessment, has proven to be highly effective in governmental organizations country-wide improving the efficiency of municipal services, reducing the costs and making government more accountable to citizens.
