Media Advisory -- Northrop Grumman-Hosted Media Tour of Melbourne, Fla., Site Will Highlight Network-Centric Operations, E-10A BMC2 Capability

 What:     Media tour of Northrop Grumman's Melbourne, Fla., site

 When:     Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, 1 - 6 p.m. (approximately)

On Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 11, Northrop Grumman Corporation will conduct a tour and media briefing at the company's Melbourne, Fla., site. This event is in conjunction with the Air Force Association's Air Warfare Symposium in Orlando.

The tour will feature Northrop Grumman's Cyber Warfare Integration Network (CWIN) facility and its E-10A Crew Area Virtual Environment, a functional setting used to validate the measures of performance and effectiveness of the company's solution for the E-10A Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) subsystem. Visitors also will see demonstrations of MP-RTIP radar operational utility and cruise-missile defense capability in the network-centric operations of the CWIN.

Transportation will be provided from the Air Force Association symposium's host hotel, the Wyndham Palace, 1900 Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The bus will depart at 1 p.m. and return at approximately 6 p.m.
