Tele2 AB: Board Of Directors Propose A Dividend Of SEK 3 Per Share


NEW YORK and STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Nasdaq:TLTOA) (Nasdaq:TLTOB) (Stockholmsborsen: TEL2A) (Stockholmsborsen: TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announced that the Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting of shareholders, to be held on 12 May 2004, that a cash dividend of SEK 3 (0) per share is paid for the financial year ended 31 December 2003.

The proposed dividend is in line with a policy, which reflects the Board's view that Tele2 is a high growth company.

In recommending the dividend a balance is maintained among growth, profitability and available cash flow.
