VIENNA, Va., Feb. 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- MSSI-TeleScience International Inc., (OTCBB:MSSI), a provider of medical personnel, homeland security products and technology services to federal, state and local government agencies, announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement to provide Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) services to the State Correctional Institution (SCI) in Frackville, Pennsylvania.
As part of the new contract, MSSI begins staffing SCI Frackville, a maximum-security prison in east central Pennsylvania, on March 1 and is currently completing its recruitment efforts for medical personnel in the area. The new contract is expected to generate nearly $250,000 per year in additional revenue for MSSI-TeleScience through June 2006, the remainder of the contract period, and may be renewed thereafter.
"SCI Frackville is in close proximity to another one of our current customers, SCI Camp Hill. This allows us to use the same pool of employees for both locations thereby leveraging the synergies between the two sites," said Dr. B.B. Sahay, President and CEO of MSSI-TeleScience. MSSI-TeleScience is currently pursuing additional, similar staffing contracts with public and private entities across the United States.
