Airbee Wireless Considers European Expansion; Signs Two Non-Disclosure Agreements in Europe

POTOMAC, Md., Feb. 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Airbee Wireless Inc., (Pink Sheets:ABEW), innovators of intelligent software for wireless communications, announced today that it has signed non-disclosure agreements with two European companies to work towards implementing its UltraLite(tm) Media Access Control ("MAC") software for medical and sensor-based applications.

Airbee's new agreement with Cambridge Consultants Ltd. of Cambridge, England, may lead to the wireless transfer of information between a variety of clinic and hospital devices, culminating in the integration of medical monitoring equipment with data repository and management systems. This ultimately will allow medical treatment personnel to continuously monitor the vital signs of all patients from central locations such as nursing stations, while streamlining their facilities' operations.

Airbee's agreement with New Leaf Consulting Ltd. of Limerick, Ireland, allows for the continued development of wirelessly-connected, sensor-based systems for the agriculture industry. The new systems may facilitate the wireless transmission of agricultural data, such as soil make-up and moisture content, directly from the farm and without the need for a human intermediary to interpret the data. If transmission of sensor-based data proves feasible, this work could lead to a multitude of sensor-based applications for the Airbee UltraLite(tm) MAC in a number of other industries.

"The MAC has been successfully demonstrated to both prospective clients for file and voice transfer functions, and with various hardware devices as inputs and outputs," said Raj Sundaresan, Airbee's CEO. "If our discussions are successful, these agreements will result in Airbee's first penetration into the European market, and will validate the accuracy of our business plan as to the MAC's agricultural and medical applications."

Airbee software enables consumer and business devices to connect to each other over short distances without using wires. The Company's overall platform facilitates both machine-to-machine and people-to-machine voice and data connections, typically ranging up to 900 feet for voice and 240 feet for data.
