eGames Has Four Titles Ranked Within Top 50 PC Games

LANGHORNE, Pa., March 2, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of Family Friendly(tm), value-priced consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that four of its games were in the overall Top 50 PC game titles ranked by units sold at retail for the month of January 2004, with its best-seller, DROP!, ranked number 11, according to NPD Techworld (NPD) for U.S. retail markets.

In addition to DROP!, other eGames titles within the Top 50 were:

 -- Card & Board Games 2, ranked number 20;
 -- 251 Games Collectors Edition, ranked number 28; and
 -- Mahjongg Master 5, ranked number 41.

"The eGames brand continues to show a strong presence at retail in both the overall PC market and particularly in the value-priced segment of PC games, $14.99 and under. The January 2004 NPD results reports that eGames held an 11% market share in unit volume in the value-priced PC game retail market, ranking number four among all value-priced PC game publishers. The latest NPD rankings are indicative of our efforts to be the leader within the most popular casual PC game genres. We are particularly pleased with the results of DROP!, because it's an example of introducing an exciting new title with fun and addictive game-play that's incremental in sales volume to the category versus cannibalizing an existing title," said Rich Siporin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of eGames.
