This certification of Emulex HBAs assures customers of the products' complete interoperability with LSI Logic Storage Systems' 5884, 4884, and 2882 storage controllers running the SANtricity(tm) 8.40/5.40 Storage Management Software in Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Solaris environments. Certification of the new Emulex midrange LP1050 and dual channel LP1050DC HBAs in Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 is expected to be complete by the end of March.

These connectivity solutions provide customers with a simplified upgrade path, reduced management complexities and ensure a lower cost of ownership. Emulex HBAs are compatible with drivers that incorporate Emulex's centralized HBA management suite, HBAnyware(tm), which features driver-based technology to enable complete management of Emulex HBAs and the ability to upgrade firmware anywhere in a SAN from a single console. Emulex HBAs feature a unique architecture that enables forward and backward compatibility with both new and existing SAN installations.
