The Vodafone live! handset Sony Ericsson Z600 wins big, but competition awaits in March

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 04, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The handset Sony Ericsson Z600 tops the Vodafone Sweden's sales list as the most sold handset in February. But in March competition from Europe's first handset with a 1 mega pixel digital camera will be harsh - Sharp GX30 - it has already stirred the interest of Vodafone customers.

- We have never, since the launch of Vodafone live! in December 2002, seen such a frenzy regarding one of our Vodafone live! handsets as we have with Sharp GX30. It is obvious that there exists a great interest among our customers to be able to take high-quality pictures with their mobile phones, says Paul Moonga, Director of Consumer Market at Vodafone Sweden.

Sharp GX30 will be in store from the 5 of March 2004*
