A Beary Wholesome Book -- New Book for Children Teaches Good Morals and Values

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J., March 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, children enjoy a wide spectrum of entertainment, from video games to films and television. Concerned with the morals of certain media, many people, such as Lady Anne Greywolf, feel that children are not learning the proper values. That is why she wrote her new book, Little Bear Belly Valley (now available through 1stBooks), a story and activity book about lively teddy bears and the lessons they learn.

Little Bear Belly Valley can be found "where the Earth is tied together with beautiful rainbow colored silk ribbons" and is a fun and safe place full of love. Greywolf tells three heartwarming stories that inspire caring, goodwill and love for all things big and small. Dealing with the real life issues many children face every day, each story explores emotional, social and spiritual concepts through entertaining scenarios involving these lovable, little teddy bears of the valley.

In "Perfect in His Time," Chloe longs for a little teddy bear cub of her own to love. However, she and her mate Bastian, are far too old, but she has faith. She prays to the Creator from the moment she wakes from hibernation, until the following autumn, in this story about faith and love. "Just the Right Size" proves that name calling can sometimes hurt worse than punches despite what that old saying says about sticks and stones. This story is about two teddy bear boys named Andy and Charlie. When older bears make fun of Charlie, Andy realizes how much it hurts and sticks up for the smaller bear. The two become inseparable friends forever. Finally, in "All About Color," Miss Trudy explains to the bears why different colors are a gift from the Creator.

In a world where children seem to grow up too fast, Little Bear Belly Valley offers the wholesome values they need to become "shiny beacon(s) for the future."

Greywolf is an award-winning poet with more than 40 poems published. She has also written numerous newspaper and magazine articles in her career. An upstanding member of her church, Greywolf has finally combined her love for children, church and writing into a wholesome book to help children grow. Little Bear Belly Valley is her first book.
